Primary developer for Sun’s virtual brand presence in Second Life (www.secondlife.com), an immersive online 3D environment for global social networking. The virtual Sun City received 250 visitors per week with an additional 160 visitors attending monthly virtual press conferences held live online

Produced a number of educational websites from concept to completion. Organized necessary resources as well as leading the creative direction, writing, and research.

Exec. Creative Director/Project Manager
World of Wonder, Los Angeles, CA
36 month contract to design and develop a new international tourist destination/theme park located in Vienna, Austria. Planned concept development for rides and shows. Worked with architectural design firm planning and leading the overall look and feel of the attraction. Wrote proposals and set objectives for creative team. I organized a model-making team to build scale models of the park from architectural drawings and led the development of additional presentation material for investors, including brochures, press kits, and media release information. Created storyboards and planned a crew to shoot a video presentation. Hired additional freelance artists to create conceptual illustrations of rides and shopping areas, individual ride logos and treatments.  I planned and organized budgets.  Other functions included the planning and coordination of satellite video transfers to and from Vienna, Austria.

Disney's Bear in the Big Blue House / Shadow Projects
Hired as an independent contractor to produce on-air spot animations for two seasons of the hit Disney show (36 episodes). Production was performed on location in New York's Astoria Studios.

Creative development and prototyping of working demo for interactive television. Produced ideas and designs for interactive content and user interface. I hired and led a team of freelance designers to implement final presentation. The original project later evolved into Disney’s video on demand (VOD) service ‘Movie Beam’.

I was involved with the creative development of new interactive educational and edutainment products. I organized and led a team of twelve professional freelance designers and two staff artists for the development and execution of art and interactive projects including concept documents and style guides.  Art directed interactive products such as Mickey's Sticker Studio, Little Mermaid Print Studio, and Chaos in Comic City.  Managed a budget and was responsible for retaining out-of-house creative services and achieving creative strategic goals for the division. I was also involved with qualitative research and focus group studies for new product development.

Managed the day-to-day activities of the on-air graphics department.  Produced on-air graphics, opening titles and animations for game shows, sitcoms and promos for the studios.  Interfaced with all levels of management and production. Provided creative vision and supervised on-line edit and graphic sessions.  Nickelodeon Studios was a full service television production and post-production facility. We produced over 1,300 episodes of game shows, narrative sitcoms, pilots, and produced over 300 promos, ID's and live events.

Established first digital file transfer between New York and Orlando in 1993. Designed my first website in 1994 before the Internet became mainstream.

Produced daily news and promotional graphics. I developed concepts for promotional ID’s, news, and show openings, set the creative direction. Developed promotional brochures, storyboards, bus panels, and advertisements. Managed digital assets for the speedy recovery of graphics for daily use.

Developed promotional strategies and direct-response advertising campaigns for local and regional clients.  Concept strategies were developed for direct mail, magazine advertising, brochures, billboards, POP, media kits, annual reports, branding and identity campaigns. Developed brand and marketing strategies. Clients included Orlando Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Circus World, King Henry’s Feast and Royal Orleans dinner theaters, various restaurants including the Popeye’s Fried Chicken regional southeast account.
